Ukrainas sportistu reprezentācija un iekļaušana mediju dienaskārtībā: ziņu portālu "Delfi", "LSM.lv" un "Sportacentrs.com" analīze (2022.–2024. gads)

Abstract

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir atklāt, kā mediji “Delfi.lv”, “LSM.lv”, “Sportacentrs.com” reprezentē un iekļauj dienaskārtībā Ukrainas sportistus laika posmā no kara sākuma un tā laikā. Darba teorētiskajā daļā tiks apkopots ieskats par masu mediju komunikāciju teorijām, reprezentācijas teoriju un dienaskārtības teoriju, kā arī sporta žurnālistiku digitālajos medijos. Teorijas palīdzēs izprast Ukrainas sportistu iekļaušanu konkrētajos medijos laika posmā no 2022. gada 1. marta līdz 1. septembrim un no 2023. gada 1. septembra līdz 2024. gada 1. martam. Bakalaura darba empīriskā daļa sastāv no daļēji strukturētajām intervijām ar sporta žurnālistiem, no konkrētajiem medijiem, aptaujās, kuras respondenti interesējas par sportu un svarīgākajiem sporta notikumiem pasaulē. Un tādejādi tiks noteikts vai Ukrainas sportisti tiek pietiekami/nepietiekami reprezentēti konkrētajos medijos, kā arī veikta kontentanalīze, kurā tika analizēti konkrēto mediju raksti par Ukrainas sportistiem. Gan aptaujas, gan kontentanalīzes dati tika apkopoti ar SPSS programmu, lai salīdzinātu un apkopotu datus un iegūtu informāciju. Tika iegūti rezultāti no interneta mediju “Delfi.lv”, “LSM.lv”, “Sportacentrs.com” auditorijas, veikta kontentanalīze, izveidotas intervijas un veikti secinājumi. Pētījumā iegūtie rezultāti liecina, ka ļoti krasi ir samazinājusies Ukrainas sportistu reprezentācijas daudzums interneta mediju dienaskārtībā.

Bachelor's thesis goal is to reveal how the media “Delfi.lv”, “LSM.lv”, “Sportacentrs.com” represent and put Ukrainian athletes in aggenda setting theory during the period from the beginning of the war and during it. The theoretical part of the work will include an overview of mass media communication theories, representation theory and agenda setting theory, as well as sports journalism in digital media. Theories will help to understand the inclusion of Ukrainian athletes in these specific media during the period from March 1, 2022 to September 1, 2022 and from September 1, 2023 to March 1, 2024. The empirical part of the bachelor's thesis consists of semi-structured interviews with sports journalists from the mentioned media. Surveys, which respondents are interested in sports and the most important sporting events in the world, and thus it will be determined whether Ukrainian athletes are adequately/inadequately represented in the specific media, as well as a content analysis was conducted, in which articles in these media about Ukrainian athletes were analyzed. Both survey and content analysis data were collected using the SPSS program to compare and summarize data and obtain information. Results were obtained from the audiences of "Delfi.lv," "LSM.lv," and "Sportacentrs.com," content analysis was performed, interviews were conducted, and conclusions were drawn.The results of the study indicate a significant decrease in the representation of Ukrainian athletes in the aggenda setting theory of internet media.
