Cenzūra mūsdienu bērnu un jauniešu literatūrā

Abstract

Arvien biežāk plašsaziņas līdzekļos lasāmas ziņas par pretrunīgi vērtētām bērnu un jauniešu literatūras grāmatām. Tām iebilst, balstoties uz daiļliteratūras darbu vai mācību materiālu nepiemērotību lasītāju vecumam, strīdīgu un tabu tēmu izklāstu un morālu principu neievērošanu. Tā kā izvērsta temata pētniecība vēl nav veikta, maģistra darba mērķis ir izpētīt cenzūras problemātiku, tā tendences un apstākļus mūsdienu bērnu un jauniešu literatūrā Latvijā laika posmā no neatkarības atjaunošanas līdz šim brīdim. Pamatuzdevums ir aplūkot un analizēt spilgtākos cenzūras atgadījumus un mēģinājumus, pievēršoties arī cenzūras jēdzienam, latviešu literatūras cenzūras vēsturei, t. s. “tikumības grozījumiem”, didaktiskajai funkcijai literatūrā un izpratnei par lasīšanas ietekmi uz bērniem un jauniešiem.

News about controversial children's and youth literature books is increasing in the media. They are objected to on the grounds of the inappropriateness of works of fiction or teaching material for the age of the reader, the presentation of controversial and taboo subjects and the disregard of moral principles. As extensive research on the subject has not yet been carried out, the aim of the master's thesis is to examine the problem of censorship, its tendencies and conditions in contemporary children's and youth literature in Latvia in the period from the restoration of independence to this moment. The main task is to look at and analyze the most prominent censorship incidents and attempts, focusing also on the concept of censorship, the history of censorship in Latvian literature, the so-called “morality amendments”, the didactic function in literature and the understanding of the impact of reading on children and young people.
