14.Saeimas vēlēšanu aktivitāti ietekmējošie faktori

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā ir pētīta etnisko faktoru, kā arī partiju atbalsta ietekme uz 14.Saeimas vēlēšanu vēlētāju aktivitāti 43 Latvijas Republikas pašvaldībās. Izmantojot korelācijas metodi, tiek noteikta etnisko faktoru un partiju atbalsta ietekme uz 14.Saeimas vēlēšanu vēlētāju aktivitātes rādītājiem, par galveno skaitlisko rādītāju ņemot korelācijas koeficientu. Darba provizoriskie rezultāti norāda, ka latviešu īpatsvars pašvaldībā pozitīvi ietekmē vēlētāju aktivitāti, kā arī galvenokārt partiju JV (Jaunā VEINOTĪBA) un P (“PROGRESĪVIE”) atbalsts pozitīvi ietekmē to.

In this bachelor’s thesis, the impact of ethnic factors as well as electoral support of political parties on the election turnout of 14th Saeima elections in 43 administrative division of Latvia has been researched. Using correlation method, the influence of ethnic factors and electoral support of political parties on the election turnout is determined, taking the correlation coefficient as the main numerical indicator. The preliminary results indicate that percentage of Latvians in administrative unit positively affects election turnout, and that mainly electoral support of political parties JV (New Unity) and P (The Progressives) positively affect it.
