Sporta pasākumu ekonomiskā ietekme

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs “Sporta pasākumu ekonomiskā ietekme” izstrādāts ar mērķi prognozēt lielu sporta pasākumu radīto ekonomisko ietekmi Latvijas kontekstā. Starptautiski pasākumi ir veids kā piesaistīt ārvalstu naudas līdzekļus. Parasti liela mēroga pasākumu organizēšanai tiek sniegts valsts vai pašvaldības līdzfinansējums. Lai noteiktu uz kādu dotāciju apmēru var kandidēt pasākuma organizētāji ir nepieciešams veikt pētījumu par potenciālo radīto ietekmi uz mērķa ekonomiku. Bakalaura darbā aptverti sporta pasākumu un to veidu teorētiskie aspekti, līdz šim izstrādātie pētījumi par ekonomiskās ietekmes analīzi pirms un pēc pasākuma kā arī autora veiktā pētījuma, kas balstās uz Latvijas struktūrvienību izstrādāto metodoloģiju. Apkopoti pētījumā iegūtie rezultāti, izteikti secinājumi un formulēti priekšlikumi.

The aim of the thesis “Economic impact of sporting events” is designed to predict the economic impact of major sporting events in the context of Latvia. International scale events are a way to increase the flow of foreign money. As a general rule, state or municipal co-financing is provided for the organization of large-scale events. In order to determine the amount of grants that may be applied for, the organizers of the event must conduct a study of the potential impact on the target economy. Thesis covers theoretical aspects of sporting events and types thereof, studies developed so far regarding analysis of economic impact before and after the event, as well as a study performed by the author, which is based on the methodology developed by Latvian policy makers. The results of the study are summarized, conclusions drawn and proposals formulated.
