Kriptovalūtu tirgus mūsdienu finanšu sistēmā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Kriptovalūtu tirgus mūsdienu finanšu sistēmā”. Digitālo valūtu straujā izaugsme un nestabilitāte rada izaicinājumus tradicionālajai finanšu videi. Darba mērķis ir izpētīt, kādu lomu kriptovalūtas spēlē mūsdienu finanšu pasaulē un cik gatavas ir klasiskās banku sistēmas šo realitāti pieņemt. Pētījuma rezultāti atklāj, ka kriptovalūtas, īpaši Bitkoins un Etērijum, piedāvā augstāku ienesīgumu nekā tradicionālie aktīvi, taču ar lielāku risku. Tika analizēti arī nozares riski, piemēram, FTX sabrukums un front-running uzbrukumi, kā arī potenciālās priekšrocības – piemēram, digitālo aktīvu integrācija caur ETF un ISO 20022 standartiem. Darbs parāda, ka kriptovalūtas jau ietekmē monetāro politiku un ir potenciāls, ko nedrīkst ignorēt.

The title of this bachelor thesis is “The Cryptocurrency Market in the Modern Financial System.” The rapid growth and volatility of digital currencies pose challenges to the traditional financial environment. The aim of the thesis is to examine the role cryptocurrencies play in today’s financial world and how prepared traditional banking systems are to accept this reality. The findings reveal that cryptocurrencies, especially Bitcoin and Ethereum, offer significantly higher returns than traditional assets, though at greater risk. The study also analyzes sector-specific threats, such as the FTX collapse and front-running attacks, as well as advantages like ETF integration and the ISO 20022 standard. The research demonstrates that cryptocurrencies already impact monetary policy and possess undeniable potential.
