Abstract

Teorētiski un praktiski pētīt matemātisko priekšstatu veidošanas iespējas ar dabas materiāliem 4-5 gadus veciem bērniem. Pētījuma jautājums. Vai 4-5 gadus vecu bērnu matemātiskos priekšstatus var sekmīgi veicināt, izmantojot daudzveidīgus dabas materiālus? Pētījuma teorētiskajā daļā analizētas pedagoģiskās un psiholoģiskās literatūras atziņas par 4-5 gadus vecu bērnu matemātisko priekšstatu veidošanu, dots 4-5 gadus vecu bērnu vecumposma raksturojums pētāmās problēmas aspektā, kā arī apkopotas un analizētas 4-5 gadus vecu bērnu matemātisko priekšstatu veidošanas metodes un paņēmieni darbā ar dabas materiāliem. Pētījuma empīriskajā daļā pēc izstrādātajiem kritērijiem notika bērnu matemātisko prasmju sākotnējā novērošana, izdarīti secinājumi, pēc kuriem tika atlasītas daudzveidīgas metodes darbā ar dabas materiāliem, lai bērnu dažādās matemātiskās prasmes uzlabotu, pēc tam veikta atkārtota prasmju no vērošana, veikta rezultātu salīdzināšana un analīze. Irina Terenika. Promoting Mathematical Concepts Through Activities with Natural Materials for 4–5-Year-Old Children. Supervisor: Mag.paed. Jana Buboviča Research Aim: To theoretically and practically investigate the possibilities of developing mathematical concepts using natural materials for children aged 4–5 years. Research Question: Can the mathematical concepts of 4–5-year-old children be effectively promoted through the use of diverse natural materials? Theoretical Part of the Research: This section analyses pedagogical and psychological literature insights regarding the formation of mathematical concepts in 4–5-year-old children. It provides a characterisation of the developmental stage of children aged 4–5 in the context of the studied problem. Additionally, it compiles and analyses methods and techniques for developing mathematical concepts in 4–5-year-old children through activities involving natural materials. Empirical Part of the Research: Based on the developed criteria, an initial observation of children's mathematical skills was conducted, followed by conclusions that led to the selection of diverse methods involving natural materials to enhance various mathematical skills in children. Subsequently, a repeated observation of skills was carried out, and the results were compared and analysed. Answer to the Research Question: The answer obtained is affirmative.
