Abstract

Basketbols kā sporta veids nepārtraukti attīstās, pielāgojoties jaunām tendencēm, kas būtiski maina spēles dinamiku un stratēģisko plānošanu. Viena no izteiktākajām pārmaiņām pēdējo gadu laikā ir saistīta ar trīspunktu metiena popularitātes un nozīmes ievērojamu pieaugumu visos basketbola līmeņos. Īpaši nozīmīga šī tendence ir kļuvusi jaunatnes basketbolā, kur trīspunktu metiena integrēšana spēļu plānos un treniņu procesā rada būtisku ietekmi uz spēles tempu, kā arī uzbrukuma struktūras organizāciju. Šī tēma līdz šim nav pietiekami detalizēti analizēta tieši jaunatnes basketbola kontekstā, padarot pētījumu teorētiski un praktiski aktuālu un iezīmējot darba novitāti. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir analizēt trīspunktu metiena ietekmi uz spēles tempu un uzbrukuma struktūru jaunatnes basketbola līgās U16-U19 vecuma grupās. Lai sasniegtu izvirzīto mērķi, darba ietvaros ir definēti vairāki pētnieciskie uzdevumi – apkopot un analizēt zinātnisko literatūru par trīspunktu metiena tehnikas un taktikas attīstību, izvērtēt, kā šīs tendences tiek adaptētas jauniešu basketbolā, kā arī analizēt empīrisko materiālu, kas ietver spēļu statistiku un aptaujas ar spēlētājiem un treneriem. Izvirzītā hipotēze paredz, ka biežāka trīspunktu metienu izmantošana jauniešu komandās paātrina spēles tempu un būtiski maina uzbrukuma struktūras organizāciju. Pētījuma objekts ir spēles temps un uzbrukuma struktūra jaunatnes basketbola līgās, bet priekšmets – trīspunktu metiena izmantošana un tās ietekme uz jauniešu spēles stilu un efektivitāti. Darba metodoloģiskā bāze ietver literatūras analīzi, statistikas datu apkopojumu un analīzi, kā arī salīdzinošu datu analīzi starp komandām, balstoties uz empīriskiem rādītājiem un aptauju rezultātiem. Darba rezultāti sniedz detalizētu ieskatu trīspunktu metiena nozīmes pieaugumā un tā ietekmē uz spēles stilu un uzbrukuma plānošanu jaunatnes līmenī. Pētījuma praktiskā nozīme ir saistīta ar iespēju iegūtos secinājumus izmantot jaunatnes treneriem, lai pilnveidotu treniņu procesu un taktiskās pieejas spēļu vadīšanā, tādējādi sekmējot basketbolistu ilgtermiņa attīstību un sagatavojot jauniešus efektīvākai pārejai uz pieaugušo basketbolu. Basketball as a sport is constantly evolving, adapting to new trends that significantly change the dynamics and tactical thinking of the game. One of the most evident developments in recent years has been the growing popularity and strategic importance of the three-point shot at all levels of basketball. This trend has become especially significant in youth basketball, where the integration of the three-point shot into game plans and training sessions has a considerable impact on game tempo and offensive structure. This issue has not yet been sufficiently analysed in the context of youth basketball, which highlights the theoretical and practical relevance of this topic and defines the novelty of the research. The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to analyse the impact of the use of the three-point shot on the pace of the game and the structure of offensive play in youth basketball leagues, focusing on age groups U16 to U19. To achieve this aim, several research tasks were set: to review and analyse scientific literature on the development of three-point shooting technique and tactics; to evaluate how these tendencies are being adapted in youth basketball; and to analyse empirical material including game statistics and surveys of players and coaches. The research hypothesis states that more frequent use of three-point shots in youth teams accelerates the pace of the game and significantly changes the organisation of offensive structures. The object of the research is game tempo and offensive structure in youth basketball leagues, while the subject is the usage of the three-point shot and its effects on the youth game model. The methodological basis of the research includes literature analysis, statistical data collection and analysis, as well as comparative analysis among teams based on empirical indicators and survey results. The findings provide an in-depth understanding of the growing importance of the three-point shot and its influence on playing style and offensive planning at the youth level. The practical relevance of the study lies in the opportunity to apply the conclusions in coaching to improve training quality and tactical approaches, thus supporting long-term player development and preparing youth for a smoother transition to adult basketball. This thesis may be useful for basketball professionals, coaches, and youth teams seeking to enhance training and performance by aligning with modern basketball trends.
