Virzītās mācīšanās metode vidusskolēnu matemātiskās modelēšanas prasmju pilnveidei matemātikā

Abstract

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētīt, kā virzītās mācīšanās metode attīsta 11. klases skolēnu prasmi no reālas situācijas izveidot matemātisko modeli, jo pētījumi liecina, ka skolēnu matemātiskās modelēšanas prasmes ir vājas. Veikts gadījuma darbības pētījums, kurā piedalījās 11. klases skolēni kādā Rīgas vidusskolā. Veiktas divas aptaujas (pirms un pēc pētījuma), diagnosticējošais darbs pirms pētījuma, īstenotas trīs mācību stundas un noslēguma prasmju diagnostikas darbs. Iegūtie rezultāti liecina, ka matemātiskās modelēšanas prasmes var pilnveidot ar virzītās mācīšanās metodi. Pētījumā fiksētie ierobežojumi ir šaurā dalībnieku izlase un laika ierobežojums. Turpmākie pētījuma virzieni ir apgūto prasmju noturības izpēte, kā arī citu matemātiskās modelēšanas prasmju apgūšanas iespējas ar virzītās mācīšanās metodi.

The aim of this study is to analyze the improvement of the skills of 11th grade student’s in formulating a mathematical model from a real life situation using the gradual release of responsibility model, since other research papers show that students mathematical modelling skills are weak. A case study of action research has been conducted, where 11th grade students of a high school in Riga took part. Two surveys were conducted (before and after the study), a diagnostics assessment before the study was held, three lessons were carried out and an assessment after the study. The results show that mathematical modelling skills can be improved with the gradual release of responsibility model. Restrictions of the study are: small sample size and limited time for the study. Further research possibilities are studying the retention of the skills learned in this study and the use of the gradual release of responsibility model to learn mathematical modelling skills.
