Mutes ietekme sejas emociju noteikšanā: Salīdzinošā analīze.

Abstract

Šajā darbā tiek pētīta gan cilvēka, gan mašīnmācīšanās modeļa spēja atpazīt emocijas no attēliem ar ierobežotu vizuālo informāciju, jo īpaši tikai no mutes zonas. Salīdzinājums tika veikts, pamatojoties uz vienu vizuālo informāciju: testēšanai cilvēka dalībniekiem un algoritmam tika uzrādīti vienādi attēli. Automātiskai atpazīšanai tika izmantots modelis, kas tika apmācīts uz īpaši apmācītu attēlu kopuma. Pētījuma mērķis ir noteikt, cik efektīvi cilvēks un algoritms spēj atpazīt emocijas, ja ir tikai ierobežota vizuālā informācija - šajā gadījumā tikai no mutes zonas.

In this work, we investigate the ability of both a human and a machine learning model to recognize emotions from images with limited visual information, in particular only in the mouth region. The comparison was made on the basis of a single visual information: the same images were presented to the human participants and the algorithm for testing. For automatic recognition, a model trained on a set of specially trained images was used. The aim of the study was to determine how efficiently the human and the algorithm can recognize emotions when only limited visual information is available - in our case, only from the mouth area.
