Sausās acs sindroma izpausmes pacientiem ar presbiopiju

Abstract

Maģistra darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 35 lapaspusēm, satur 10 attēlus, 4 tabulas un 55 atsauces uz literatūras avotiem. Darba mērķis ir izvērtēt sausās acs subjektīvo simptomu un objektīvo atradņu esamību presbiopiem ar uz bez psoriāzes. Metode: psoriāzes un kontroles grupai tika salīdzināts asaru meniska augstums, asaru plēvītes plīšanas laiks, Širmera tests un divas SAS anketas. Rezultāti: psoriāzes pacientiem SAS atradnēs tiek novēroti zemāki rezultāti Širmera testā un abās SAS anketās salīdzinājumā ar kontroles grupas pacientiem. Tiek novērota tendence, ka augstāks Širmera testa rezultāts ir saistāms ar lielāku subjektīvo simptomu daudzumu DEQ5 anketas rezultātos.

The master's thesis is written in Latvian on 35 pages, contains 10 figures, 4 tables and 55 references to literature sources. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the presence of subjective symptoms and objective findings of dry eye in presbyopes with and without psoriasis. Method: tear meniscus height, tear film breakup time, Schirmer's test, and two DED questionnaires were compared between the psoriasis and control groups. Results: Psoriasis patients had lower results in Schirmer's test and in both DED questionnaires compared to the control group. There is a trend that a higher Schirmer's test result is associated with a higher number of subjective symptoms in the DEQ5 questionnaire results.
