Progresīvo tīmekļa lietotņu un starpplatformu mobilo lietotņu priekšrocību un trūkumu analīze

Abstract

Pieaugot interneta lietojumam no mobilajām ierīcēm, būtiski palielinās arī pieprasījums pēc mobilo lietotņu izstrādes. Tomēr vietējo lietotņu izstrāde ir laikietilpīga un resursietilpīga. Attīstoties progresīvo tīmekļa lietotņu tehnoloģijai, tā kļūst par aktuālu alternatīvu tradicionālajām izstrādes pieejām, taču joprojām būtisks ir jautājums – vai šāda pieeja var konkurēt ar mūsdienu starpplatformu risinājumiem, īpaši ar Flutter ietvaru. Šī darba ietvaros tika izstrādātas divas vizuāli un funkcionāli līdzīgas mobilās lietotnes, izmantojot progresīvo tīmekļa lietotņu un Flutter ietvara pieeju. Tiek veikta abu lietotņu salīdzinošā analīze, izvērtējot to funkcionalitāti, veiktspēju un lietotāju subjektīvo vērtējumu, lai noteiktu katras pieejas priekšrocības un trūkumus mūsdienu mobilās vides kontekstā.

With the increasing use of the internet through mobile devices, the demand for mobile application development has grown significantly. However, native app development is time-consuming and resource intensive. As Progressive Web App technology evolves, it has become a relevant alternative to traditional development approaches. Still, an important question remains — can this approach compete with modern cross-platform solutions, particularly the Flutter framework. In this thesis, two visually and functionally similar mobile applications were developed using the Progressive Web App and Flutter approaches. A comparative analysis of both applications was conducted, evaluating their functionality, performance, and users’ subjective feedback, to identify the advantages and disadvantages of each approach in the context of today’s mobile environment.
