Bakalaura darbā “Veimāras Republikas atspoguļojums latviešu presē no 1919. līdz mūsdienām” analizēts, kā dažādos Latvijas vēstures posmos latviešu laikrakstos un žurnālos ticis paradīts Veimāras Republikas periods Vācijas vēsturē (1919–1933). Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot, kā mainījās latviešu preses uztvere un attieksme pret šo vēsturisko periodu, kā arī kādos kontekstos tas tika pieminēts dažādos vēstures posmos. Darbā veikta preses materiālu satura analīze, salīdzinot to no neatkarīgās Latvijas, padomju, vācijas okupācijas, trimdas un mūsdienu skatpunkta. Pētījuma rezultāti atklāj, ka attieksme pret Veimāras Republiku ir ievērojami mainījusies atbilstoši laikmeta ideoloģijai, kas ļauj izvērtēt arī preses lomu vēsturisko notikumu interpretācijā. The bachelor's thesis “The Reflection of the Weimar Republic in the Latvian Press from 1919 to the Present” analyzes how the period of the Weimar Republic in German history (1919-1933) has been represented in Latvian newspapers and magazines across different periods of Latvian history. This study aims to investigate how media interpretations and assessments of this period have evolved in response to the specific historical, political, and ideological contexts in Latvia. The work analyses the content of press materials, comparing them from the perspectives of independent Latvia, the Soviet occupation and modern times. The results of the study reveal that attitudes towards the Weimar Republic have changed significantly according to the ideology of the era, which also allows us to assess the role of the press in the interpretation of historical events.
