Somu nacionālā identitāte un stereotipi Arto Pāsilinnas romānā "Pakārto lapsu mežs"

Šajā bakalaura darbā tiek aplūkota Somijas nacionālā identitāte, nacionālais raksturs un stereotipi, kā arī to atspoguļojums Arto Pāsilinnas romānā Pakārto lapsu mežs. Pētījumā izmantota kritiskā diskursa analīze kā analīzes metode. Darba gaitā tika iepazīta 19. gadsimta un mūsdienu literatūra, lai identificētu pazīmes, kuras tika izmantotas salīdzinājumā ar romāna diskursa analīzes rezultātiem. Rezultāti parāda, ka šis romāns ir vērtīgs avots Somijas nacionālās identitātes, nacionālo rakstura iezīmju un stereotipu izpētei. Diskursu analīze atklāja, ka romāna galveno varoņu attēlojumos atspoguļojas Somijas nacionālā rakstura iezīmes un stereotipi. This bachelor's thesis examines Finnish national identity, national character, and stereotypes, and how they are reflected in Arto Paasilinna’s novel The Forest of Hanged Foxes. The study employs critical discourse analysis as its analytical method. The work draws on both 19th-century and contemporary background literature to identify features used for comparison with the results of the novel’s discourse analysis. The results show that this novel is a valuable source for studying Finnish national identity, national character traits, and stereotypes. The discourse analysis revealed that the portrayals of the novel’s main characters reflect features of Finnish national character and associated stereotypes.
