Darba nosaukums ir „Dieva koncepcija senās Ēģiptes reliģijā”.
Darba tēze ir: Senās Ēģiptes reliģijā valdīja monoteisms.
Darba mērķis ir noskaidrot ko vairāk par kristietības saknēm – seno ēģiptiešu priekšstatu par Dievu.
Darba pirmajā nodaļā sniegs ieskats Senās Ēģiptes reliģijā, kas palīdz izprast apstākļus un domāšanu Senajā Ēģiptē. Apraksts veidots, sākot no sociālā stāvokļa Senajā Ēģiptē un beidzot ar seno ēģiptiešu svētajiem rakstiem.
Otrā nodaļa apspriež ēģiptologu izvirzītās teorijas attiecībā uz Senās Ēģiptes Dieva/dievu koncepciju, t.i. monoteismu, henoteismu un politeismu.
Trešā nodaļa sniedz padziļinātu ieskatu Seno Ēģiptiešu uzskatos par Dievu un Dieva darbību pasaulē. Darbā ir izmantota struktūranalīzes metode. The title of the paper is „The Concept of God in the Religion of Ancient Egypt”.
The thesis of the work is as follows: Monotheism id the main theological model in the religion of ancient Egypt.
The purpose of the research is to explore the roots of Christian monotheism, i.e., the concept of God/gods in Ancient Egypt.
The first part of the work is the introducing one dealing with the main features of the Egyptian religion.
The second part presents the theories proposed by Egyptologists concerning God/gods: those are of monotheism, henotheism and polytheism in Ancient Egypt.
In the third part the concept of God/gods is discussed more profoundly. The names, activities and features of gods are mentioned in the context of different theories of Egyptologists.
