Spiritual and emotional emptiness, increased aggressiveness and possibility of "soul loss" in humanity, which is the result of global economical crisis in recent years, suggested to the author of this work to reflect upon the need of transformation of man in the deepest sense, which could possibly result in the change of the essence of civilization.
In the work „Transformation of personality: Kabbalah and C. G. Jung” two methods of a person’s transformation, i.e., the method of the Jungian or analytical psychology and the method of repair proposed by Kabbalah are discussed, compared and analyzed.
One method, the Kabbalah, represents the framework of religious transformation. The second method, analytical psychology, represents framework for psychological or scientific transformation. The objective of this work is to clarify whether both of these methods can truly transform the nature of a human being.
The main conclusion of this thesis is that both methods of transformation, of the analytical psychology and the method of Kabbalah, can be considered equally effective the method in the transformation of the personality as long as the analytical psychology is considered not only as a therapeutic process alone, but rather as an alternative religious method.
