Abstract

The topicality of the theme of the bachelor work is “The legal aspects of parents benefit calculation and assignation”. The aim of the work is to search and analyze parents benefit calculation, assignation and cut-down legal basis. To achieve the aim of the work were reached and realized several tasks. There was chosen and analyzed lately constituted system of benefit – parents benefit, its adequacy in the situation of Latvia and parents’ rights to receive parents benefit according to their legal rights. From the aspect of law was evaluated live issue about cutting-down the parents’ benefit. In the research of the work was made conclusions that Latvia should form the system of assistance for families with children that could promote parents participation in the labor market and integration in the society that could decrease the number of disadvantageous families and the number of outside of family growing children in Latvia. The most effective way how to promote birth rate is not only to establish the parents benefit but also arrangements assignation to unite the family and working life. To stabilize and improve families material and social situation is necessary to perform amendments of law about cutting-down families income-tax, social guaranty benefits promotion, as well as parents benefit assignation to child’s age of one and a half of year etc. The work has got three parts and subdivisions.
