Darbs ir veltīts Imanuela Kanta tiesību filozofijas analīzei, uzmanību pievēršot tiesību teorijas jautājumiem, kā arī šo ideju praktiskajai ietekmei mūsdienu tiesību zinātnē. Pirmajā nodaļā aprakstītas galvenās Kanta tiesību filozofijas idejas, kas veido tiesību teorijas bāzi, nosaka tiesību sistēmu un to veidojošo elementu īpašības, nodala tiesības no morāles, iezīmē kategoriskā imperatīva un brīvības kategorijas nozīmi tiesībās. Otrā nodaļa veltīta neokantisma kustībai tiesībās un tās galvenajiem pārstāvjiem, kā Kanta ideju turpinātājiem un pārveidotājiem. Mūsdienu tiesību filozofija galvenās problēmas Kanta teoriju kontekstā apskatītas trešajā nodaļā. Ceturtā nodaļa veltīta konkrētu ideju izpausmēm konkrētās tiesību nozarēs. Paper is dedicated to the analysis of the legal philosophy of Immanuel Kant, with regard to issues of legal theory, and also to showing, how these ideas are revealing in contemporary legal science. In the first chapter are overviewed those main ideas of Kant, that compose background of legal theory for Kant, determines the system of law and the qualities of it’s components, separates law from morals, marks the significance of categorical imperative and the category of freedom in law. The second chapter is dedicated to movement of neo-kantianism in law and to its major representatives as continuators and transformers of Kant’s ideas. The essential ideas of modern legal philosophy in context of Kant are included in the third chapter. In the fourth chapter are revealed the influence of the particular ideas in the science of law.
