Darba nosaukums ir „Garīgums Ikšķiles Brīvās skolas izglītības pedagoģijā”.
Tēze ir: „Garīguma izpratne un tā praktizēšana alternatīvajās skolās ir vairāk atkarīga no vadītāja un personāla individuālās attieksmes, nekā no teorētiskā un filozofiskā pamatojuma, kāds izvirzīts skolas mērķī.”
Pirmajā darba nodaļā tiek aplūkota jēdziena garīgums un nozīme, tiek izvirzīta tā definīcija.
Turpmākajās divās nodaļās tiek aplūkoti pētījuma objekta – Ikšķiles Brīvās skolas izglītības filozofijas galvenie balsti – holisms un humānā pedagoģija kā garīguma attīstības līdzekļi. Darba noslēgumā tēzes pierādīšanai tiek izmantota salīdzinoši analītiskā metode, kas izvērtē Ikšķiles Brīvās skolas garīguma izpratnes avotus, kas meklējami kopējā skolas filozofijā, ar praktisko jēdziena „garīgums” izpratnes pielietojumu audzināšanas darbā.

Thesis is as follows: „The understanding of spirituality and its apply in praxis in alternative schools depends more on the head of the school, but the theoretical and philosophical ground, that is postulate in the aim of the school.”
The first part of the work deals with the term “spirituality”, the meaning and definition.
The next to chapters draws the main aspects of the school’s educational philosophy – holism and the human pedagogy as tools for developing spirituality. At the end of research for the approval of the thesis, a comparison between the theory and the praxis are made.
