Millenārisms Origena un Tertulliāna darbos

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs “Millenārisms Origena un Tertulliāna darbos” pēta ar tūkstošgadu valstības koncepciju saistītās idejas, kas atrodamas abu autoru teoloģiskajos traktātos. Lai saskatītu abu autoru teoloģisko un filozofisko motivāciju viņu izvēlei pieņemt vai nepieņemt millenārisma idejas, tiek pētīti arī millenārisma idejas aizsākumi un attīstība pirmajos kristietības gadsimtos pirms Origena un Tertulliāna. Millenārisma idejas aizsākumu izpēte norāda uz to, kāda literatūra, filozofiskas un teoloģiskas idejas un koncepcijas abiem autoriem varēja būt pieejamas. Pētījuma rezultāti liecina, ka abu autoru skatījums uz millenārismu nav viņu bibliskas ekseģēzes rezultāts, bet to ietekmē abu autoru individuālā filozofiskā formācija grieķu – romiešu kultūrvidē.

The bachelor paper „Millennialism in Origen’s and Tertullian’s works” studies the ideas connected with a thousand - year kingdom, which are found in the theological tractates of both authors. To see the theological and philosophical motivation for the authors’ choice to take or not these ideas about millennialism, the author of the bachelor paper has studied the origin and development of the idea in the first centuries of Christianity before Origen and Tertullian. This research about the origin of millennialism point at the literature, philosophical and theological ideas and conceptions which could be available for both authors. The results of the research show that the point of view of both authors about millennialism does not come from their biblical exegesis, but it has been formed individually by the Greco-Roman cultural and historical environment.
