Autors izvēlējās tematu „Pirmstiesas kriminālprocesa īpatnības darbā ar nepilngadīgām personām”, jo bērni un jaunieši ieņem īpaši svarīgu lomu sabiedrībā. Valstij jādara viss iespējamais, lai tiem dotu iespēju dzīvot pilnvērtīgu un jēgpilnu dzīvi. Bērnam kā nenobriedušajai personībai nepieciešama īpaša tiesiska aizsardzība un gādība kā no ģimenes, tā no valsts un visas sabiedrības puses. Tas attiecas arī uz nepilngadīgo kriminālprocesā.
Bakalaura darbs sastāv no ievada, četrām nodaļām un kopsavilkuma. Ievadā izklāstīta izvēlētā bakalaura darba temata aktualitāte, noteikts darba mērķis. Pirmajā nodaļā aprakstīta personas nepilngadība kā kritērijs īpašām prasībām kriminālprocesam un juvenālās justīcijas attīstība. Otrajā nodaļā autors apraksta nepilngadīgo interešu aizsardzību. Trešā nodaļa veltīta procesuālo piespiedu līdzekļu piemērošanas īpatnībām nepilngadīgajām personām. Savukārt ceturtā nodaļa– nepilngadīgā pratināšanas īpatnības.
Kopsavilkumā darba autors uzsver nepieciešamību uz The author chose the topic „Distinctive Features with Regard to Juveniles during the Pre-trial Criminal Process” because children and juveniles play a very significant role in society. The state must do everything possible to ensure juveniles with a wholesome and meaningful life. The child as an immature person needs special legal protection and care from his or her family, the state and society as a whole. The same applies also to a juvenile in a criminal process.
The baccalaureate paper consists of an introduction, four chapters and a summary. In the introduction, the author emphasises the topicality of the chosen theme and defines the aim of the work. In the first chapter, the author describes a person’s minority as a criterion for special requirements in a criminal process and the development of juvenile justice.
