Zusammenfassung
Darba tēmu “Dizainparaugi” autore ir izvēlējusies, jo šīs tiesību nozares praksē rodas daudz neskaidru jautājumu par to aizsardzības procesuālajiem un būtības aspektiem.
Maģistra darba mērķis bija izvērtēt dizainparaugu un telpisku preču zīmju nošķiršanas nepieciešamību, noskaidrot dizainparaugu tiesiskā regulējuma problemātiskos aspektus un izpētīt pasaules praksi dizainparaugu aizsardzības jautājumos.Autore sniedz savus priekšlikumus par dizainparaugu reģistrācijas procesa un Dizainparaugu likuma uzlabošanu, piedāvājot ieviest jaunu dizainparaugu izvērtēšanas veidlapu Patentu valdē un papildināt Dizainparaugu likumu ar jaunām normām, kas paredzētu dizainparaugu īpašumtiesību būtību skaidrojumu, un iespēju tos ieķīlāt.

The present diploma paper subject called "Industrial Design" had been chosen by author to research because a lot of unclear questions about the protection of the procedural and substantive aspects have been coming up during the law practice.
The purposes of the Master's paper were to evaluate the necessity of design patterns and spatial trademarks distinctions, to find out the aspects of design’s law regulatory bottlenecks, as well as to investigate the World experience in design pattern’s protection aspects.In the summary, the author provides proposals to improve the design patterns’ law and registration process, offering a new design evaluation form and complete the Patent Office Designs Act with new provisions which would require the design pattern of ownership of the nature of explanation, and the possibility of their pledge.
