Abstract

Darba „Režisora Kārļa Auškāpa radošais darbs Dailes teātrī (1998 – 2008). Galvenie virzieni” pirmā nodaļa ir veltīta galveno tendenču analīzei Latvijas teātrī, tostarp Dailes teātrī, periodā no 1998. – 2008. gadam. Nākamā nodaļa sniedz ieskatu Kārļa Auškāpa ceļā uz režisora profesiju. Turpmāk ir aplūkota režisora daiļrade laika posmā no 1977. – 1997. gadam. Savā radošajā darbā režisors piedzīvo krīzi, tāpēc analizējot laikmetu un režisora personību, cenšos izprast tās iemeslus. Darba pēdējā nodaļā tiek izvērtētas svarīgākās Kārļa Auškāpa izrādes, kas tapušas no 1998. – 2008. gadam. Izvēlētās izrādes ir analizētas, grupējot pēc tematiskā principa, novērtējot arī formas specifiku. Režisora pēdējās desmitgades iestudējumu analīze piedāvā jaunu skatījumu uz šajā laika posmā tapušajiem darbiem.

First chapter of the paper „Creative Work of Director Kārlis Auškāps in the Daile Theatre (1998 - 2008). Main Directions” is devoted to the analysis of main tendencies in Latvian theatre, among them in the Daile theatre, over the period 1998 – 2008. Next chapter gives an insight to Kārlis Auškāps’ way to director’s profession. Further director’s creation between 1977 and 1997 is examined. In his creative work the director experiences the crisis therefore the author of the paper not only analyses the age and the personality of the director, but also tries to understand its reasons. The final chapter of the paper appraises the most important Kārlis Auškāps’ performances created from 1998 – 2008. Selected performances are analysed according to thematic classification, with assessment of the form. The analysis of the last decade of performances of the director provides a new perspective over the works of this period.
