Viljama Šekspīra lugas Oļģerta Krodera režijā

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā „ Viljama Šekspīra lugas Oļģerta Krodera režijā” aplūkoti deviņi latviešu teātra režisora Oļģerta Krodera (1921) Viljama Šekspīra lugu iestudējumi, kas tapuši dažādos Latvijas teātros laikā no 1966. līdz 2008. gadam. Šiem iestudējumiem raksturīga Šekspīra varoņu pielīdzināšana mūsdienu cilvēkiem – “deheroizācija” un “deestetizācija” , kas ļauj tos iekļaut Šekspīra jaunā interpretācijas veidā, kas aizsākās 20. gadsimta 60. gados Anglijā un ātri izplatījās pa visu Eiropu, tostarp arī PSRS . Darbā iestudējumi skatīti “Šekspīra revolūcijas”, O. Krodera radošās darbības un sabiedrības noskaņojuma iestudējumu tapšanas laikā kontekstā. Izrādes aplūkotas hronoloģiskā secībā, atklājot katra iestudējuma vietu attiecīgajā režisora daiļrades posmā.

Bachelor thesis „William Shakespeare’s Plays Directed by Olgerts Kroders” analyzes nine William Shakespeare’s Latvian theatre plays directed by Olgerts Kroders (1921). Plays have been performed on different Latvian theatres from 1966 to 2008. Equation of Shakespeare’s heroes with modern people – de-heroisation” and „de-aesthetisation” – is the main characteristics of these plays that determine inclusion of those Shakespeare’s plays in a new form of interpretation that began in 20th century 60ties in England and soon spread out in all Europe as well as in USSR. Bachelor thesis analyzes the plays in context of „Shakespeare’s revolution”, O.Kroders’ creative work and society spirit during the process of making each play. Plays are analyzed chronologically revealing each play’s role in accordant period of director’s creative work.
