Latgales centrālo izlokšņu apgabala ieceļotāji Sibīrijā: sociolingvistiskais aspekts

Abstract

Maģistra darbā “Latgales centrālo izlokšņu apgabala ieceļotāji Sibīrijā: sociolingvistiskais aspekts” aplūkota tā saukto Centrāllatgales izlokšņu izceļotāju pēcteču valoda Sibīrijā sociolingvistiskā aspektā. Pētījumam izmantoti audiomateriāli, kas savākti Latvijas Universitātes un Sanktpēterburgas Valsts universitātes etnolingvistiskajās ekspedīcijās no 2004. līdz 2009. gadam, kā arī darba autores tiešie vērojumi Sibīrijā. Pilnīgākam priekšstatam par pētījamo areālu ieskicēta vēsturiskā aina, pētīts, kā valoda funkcionē sabiedrībā, kādas ir valodas sociolingvistiskās funkcijas, kā tās mainījušās laika gaitā. Aplūkota valodas nāves un revitalizācijas problēma. Pētīts, cik liela ir krievu valodas ietekme un kas to nosaka. Vēroti sociālie procesi, kontakti sabiedrībā, latgaliešu valodas nozīme runātāju kopienai, valodas sociālais prestižs.

In the Master’s thesis “Dialect and People: the Sociolinguistic Aspects of Latgalian Central Region Migrants to Siberia” the language of the descendants of the so-called Latgalian central region migrants is investigated in the sociolinguistic aspect. In the research, audio materials that were collected in ethno-linguistic expeditions of the University of Latvia and St. Petersburg State University (year 2004–2009) are used as well as the author’s direct observations. For more complete notion on the investigated area the historical outlook is given. It is also researched how the language functions in the society; what are the sociolinguistic functions of the language; how they have changed in the course of time. The matters of language extinction and revitalization are discussed; the causes and effects of influence of the Russian language are analyzed. The following issues are researched: social processes, contacts in the society, the significance of the Latgalian language for the speakers’ community, the social prestige of the language.
