Abstract

Rakstnieces Ilona Leimane ir latviešu literatūrā maz pazīstama autore, lai gan romāns „ Vilkaču mantiniece” ir viņas daiļrades spožākā virsotne un viens no labākajiem darbiem 40. gadu hitleriskās okupācijas laika latviešu romānistikā. Vispusīgu pētījumu par rakstnieces literāro darbību un konkrēto romānu latviešu literatūrteorijā tikpat kā nav. Tāpēc, saistībā ar izpētes darba tēmu, tā mērķis ir veikt pēc iespējas plašāku un detalizētu romāna analīzi, pievēršot uzmanību tajā ietvertajam mitoloģiskajam slānim, komplicētajai laiktelpas struktūrai, romānā iekodētajai identitāšu un pretmetu sistēmai, vēstījuma poetizācijā saskatāmajām īpatnībām un valodai, kas atspoguļo latviešu valodas senākos slāņus. Kā arī aktualizēt jautājumu par romāna popularitātes cēloņiem un dzīvotspēju.

Writer Ilona Leimane is a very unknown author of Latvian literature, although the novel „Vilkaču mantiniece” is the brightest peak of her creation and one of her best works of Latvian novelism during the German occupation of 40 ’ies. There are almost none versatile research performed on the literary activities and the particular novel of the writer. Therefore, in connection with the theme of the work, the target of it is to perform as wide and detailed analyses of the novel as possible, paying attention to the wide mythological layer included in the novel, complicated structure of timespace, encoded system of identity and contrast in the novel, obvious message poeticization of peculiarities and language, which reflects the ancient layers of Latvian language. Additionally, to examine the question of causes and vitality of popularity of the novel.
