Folkloras motīvi Jāņa Medeņa dzejas krājumā „Varenība”

Abstract

Bakalaura darba mērķis ir noskaidrot galvenos folkloras motīvus Jāņa Medeņa dzejas krājumā „Varenība” un to lietojuma pamatojumu. Darba 1. daļā tiek apskatīti J. Medeņa krājuma „Varenība” tematikas izvēles ietekmējošie faktori attiecīgā laikmeta, politiskās un reliģiskās pārliecības kontekstā (1934. gada K. Ulmaņa apvērsums un politiskā ideoloģija, dievturības meklējumi un pozitīvisma idejas). Sniegts arī neliels ieskats Medeņa metros jeb strofās, kas guvušas literatūrzinātnieku atzinību savdabīgā tautasdziesmu pantmēra un antīkās dzejas strofikas pārveidošanas un apvienošanas dēļ. Krājuma struktūra un darba gaitā konstatētie galvenie folkloras elementi un motīvi tiek pamatoti darba 2. daļā gan ar folkloras zinātniskajiem pētījumiem, gan salīdzināti ar folkloras tekstiem, biežāk tautasdziesmām, jo tās plašāk aptver interesējošo materiālu. The objective of the Bachelor paper is to find out the main motives of the folklore in the collection of poetry “Mightiness” by Janis Medenis and the substantiation of its usage. In the first chapter of the work, there are examined the factors, which influence the choice of the topic for the collection of poetry “Mightiness” by Janis Medenis in the context of the epoch, political and religious certainty (the revolution of K. Ulmanis in 1934 and political ideology, the search for the divinity and the ideas of positivism). There is given also a small insight in the meters of Medenis or strophes, which have gained the recognition of specialists of literature due to the modification of the idiomatic rhythm of folk song and its unification with the strophes of the antique poetry. The collection structure and the main elements and motives of the folklore stated during the works are substantiated in the second part of the work both with the scientific researches of the folklore and compared with the texts of folklore, most often with the folk songs, because they clasp the material, which interests.
