| dc.description.abstract | Bakalaura darbā „Kāzu tradīcijas Vārkavas iedzīvotāju dzīvesstāstos” (pēc LU Tradicionālās kultūras un mutvārdu vēstures ekspedīciju materiāliem),pirmkārt, ir apskatīta precību un kāzu tradīciju etimoloģija un terminoloģija, otkārt, lielākā darba daļa ir veltīta noteiktai tematikai. Detalizētāk tiek rakturotas kāzu tradīcijas Vārkavas iedzīvotāju dzīvesstāstos 20.gs. vidusposmā, analizējot dotos avotus un izvērtējot nozīmīgākos zinātniskās un populārzinātniskās literatūras izdevumus. Darbā ir pētītas kāzu tradīcijas Vārkavas iedzīvotāju dzīvesstāsos, tos sasaistot ar cilvēku materiālo stāvokli un sociālo statusu.

| dc.description.abstract | In the Bachelor paper „Wedding Traditions in Life Stories of Inhabitans of Vārkava (According to the Materials of Expeditions of Traditional Culture and Oral History of University of Latvia)", firstly, etymology and terminology of marriage and wedding traditions are considered, secondly, the greatest part of the present paper is devoted to the research of wedding traditions in Vārkava inhabitants’ life history. Wedding traditions of middle of 20th century in Vārkava inhabitants’ life histories are particularly described in the paper, analysing given sources and evaluating relevant scientific and popular-science literature publications. The author of the paper examines wedding traditions in Vārkava inhabitants’ life histories, connecting them with people’ material conditions and social status.
