Skolēnu pašpārvaldes loma skolas lēmumu pieņemšanā.

Abstract

Maģistra darba tēma ir „Skolēnu pašpārvaldes loma skolas lēmumu pieņemšanā”. Pētījumā analizēti Latvijas izglītības politikas dokumenti. Veikts pētījums, lai noskaidrotu skolēnu pašpārvaldes dalībnieku un skolas administrācijas viedokli par skolēnu pašpārvaldes iespējām, tiesībām un pienākumiem. Pētījumā secināts, ka Latvijas izglītības politikas dokumentos netiek reglamentēta skolēnu pašpārvaldes darbība, to nosaka katras skolas pieņemtais kārtības rullis. Skolēnu pašpārvaldes dalībniekiem ir tiesības iesniegt priekšlikumus mācību darba, sabiedriskās dzīves un saimniecisko darbu jautājumos. Pēc skolēnu domām viņiem ir pienākums regulāri informēt skolēnus par pašpārvaldes darbību, uzklausīt un apkopot skolēnu vajadzības, pārstāvēt un aizstāvēt skolēnu intereses, palīdzēt nodrošināt iekšējās kārtības noteikumus, ar savu rīcību rādīt piemēru pārējiem skolēniem.

The master thesis is devoted to “The role of students’ council in decision making at school”. In the thesis the documentation of Latvian educational policy is analyzed. The research was performed in order to identify the opinion of students’ council’s participants and school administration on possibilities, rights, and duties of students’ council. Conclusions of the research show that work of students’ council is not regulated by the documentation of Latvian educational policy; work of students’ council is regulated by the rules accepted at the particular school. Participants of students’ council have rights to make proposals on educational work, social life, and economical topics. The students believe that their duty is to inform other students about the activities of the council on the regular basis, to listen and to summarize needs of students, to represent and defend students’ interests, to set an example to other students by personal activities, and to help to fulfill the internal rules of order.
