Zemes seguma maiņa Latvijā 20. gs.: tendences un faktori

Abstract

20. gadsimtā ievērojami palielinājusies antropogēno faktoru ietekme uz zemes seguma izmaiņām un ainavu. Pārlieku liela antropogēnā slodze var degradēt ainavu ne tikai no ekoloģiskā viedokļa, bet arī no vizuālā ainavas uztveres aspekta. Darba mērķis bija noskaidrot zemes seguma izmaiņas tendences Latvijā 20. gadsimtā, apzināt to ietekmējošos faktorus un salīdzināt tos ar citu pētījumu rezultātiem. Lai sasniegtu izvirzīto mērķi, bija nepieciešams izstrādāt metodiku zemes seguma maiņu izpētei nacionālā līmenī. Izstrādājot darbu tika atklāta būtiska korelācija starp meža platību izmaiņām un pļavu un ganību īpatsvaru 1929. gadā. Zemes segums tika apzināts kā viens no svarīgākajiem ainavu veidojošajiem elementiem. The influence of anthropogenic factors on land use and landscape is getting stronger. Too intensive anthropogenic load may reduce values of ecological and visual landscape. Objective of the work was to clarify tendencies of land cover changes in Latvia in 20th century, search for the factors affecting the processes and compare them with results of other researches. The new methodology was elaborated to ensure the research of land use in national level. Essential correlation was discovered between changes of forested areas and the percentage of meadows and pastures (situation of the year 1929).
