Abstract
Darbā “Kara ētika - miera sasniegšanas instruments” ir aplūkota kara ētikas attīstība un taisnīga kara mācības aktualitāte mūsdienu kontekstā, analizējot teoriju par taisnīgumu pēc kara un teorijas piedāvātos kara beigšanas priekšnosacījumus. Darba mērķis ir sniegt ieskatu problemātikā, kā taisnīga kara mācības sniegtie priekšnosacījumi spēj būt pielietojami mūsdienās, salīdzinot ar miera ētiku un modernā kara izpratni. Tāpat darbā tiek analizēta morāles un likumu savienojamība pēckara posmā, valsts un starptautisko attiecību ietvarā.
In this paper “Ethics of war – an instrument for reaching the peace” is reviewed the development of war ethics and current issues of Just War doctrines in contemporary context, analyzing ius post bellum and the preconditions for the completion of the war. The main goal, referencing to theory of after-wars justice, is to give an insight into the problem, how Just War doctrine can be applied nowadays, adjusting to ethics of peace and modern war comprehension. The thesis also analyzes the compatibility of morality and laws in post-war phase, in the framework of state`s and international relations.
