Abstract
Darbā tiek apskatīti vairāku optimizācijas problēmu risinājumi, izmantojot lineāru programmēšanu un QUBO, jeb kvadrātisko neierobežotu bināro optimizāciju. Tiek apskatītas trīs optimizācijas problēmas, kas saistītas ar grafiku izveidi: skolas stundu saraksta izveide, universitātes lekciju saraksta izveide, kā arī futbola spēļu kalendāra izveide. Katrai no problēmām tika atrasta atbilstoša izmaksu funkcija, kā arī tiek parādīti detalizēti norādījumi, kā apstrādāt papildus nosacījumus un ierobežojumus. Visi risinājumi tika pārbaudīti, izmantojot klasisko QUBO risinātāju Python valodā, kā arī publiski pieejamu kvantu atkvēlinātāju.
The paper examines the solutions of several optimization problems using linear programming and QUBO, or quadratic unconstrained binary optimization. Three scheduling optimization problems are considered: creating a school timetable, creating a university lecture list, and creating a soccer schedule. An appropriate cost function was found for each of the problems, and detailed instructions on how to handle additional conditions and constraints are also shown. Additionally, all solutions were verified using the classical QUBO solver in Python, as well as a publicly available quantum annealer.
