Politisko partiju sistēmas attīstība Latvijā

Abstract

Maģistra darba mērķis ir izvērtēt politisko partiju sistēmas attīstību Latvijā no neatkarības atjaunošanas līdz mūsdienām un sniegt priekšlikumus partijām, kā sekmīgāk aizstāvēt savus mērķus un vērtības. Lai sasniegtu mērķi, maģistra darba ietvaros tika aplūkota literatūra par politiskās partijas jēdzienu un tā attīstību, aplūkojot gan Rietumeiropas, gan Austrumeiropas pieredzi, aprakstīti Latvijas ietekmīgāko partiju dzīves cikli Saeimas vēlēšanu kontekstā un veikta aptauja ar mērķi noskaidrot kādi faktori ietekmē vēlētāju izvēli Saeimas vēlēšanās. Rezultātā tika secināts, ka partijas dzīves ciklu ietekmē vairāki faktori, un būtiskākie no tiem ir panākumi vēlēšanās, līderi un atrašanās pie varas, kā arī vēlētāju segmenta izvēle. The aim of the master’s paper is to assess the development of the system of political parties in Latvia from the renewal of independence to the present days as well as propose a motion to the parties to defend their goals and values more successfully. To achieve the objective of the master’s paper the literature was reviewed on the concept of a political party and its development, looking at both Western and Eastern European experience, described the life cycle of the most influential political party in Latvia in context of parliamentary elections and a survey was carried out to determine what factors influence the voters’ choice of parliamentary election. As a result, it was clarified that the life-cycle of political party is affected by several factors, most important of these is the success of elections, the leader and position of power, as well as a choice of voters’ segment.
