Helsinku slenga metaforiskie un metonīmiskie vietvārdi

Abstract

Bakalura darba tēma ir „Helsinku slenga metaforiskie un metonīmiskie vietvārdi”. Darba mērķis ir sniegt priekšskatu par daudzpusīgu unikālā Somijas galvaspilsētas slenga vietvārdu daļu – metaforiskiem un metonīmiskiem slenga vietvārdiem. Darbā sniegts apraksts par Helsinku slengu, metaforu un metonīmiju no diviem atšķirīgiem viedokļiem, iepriekšējiem Helsinku slenga toponīmu pētījumiem un sintaktiski semantisko klasifikācijas modeli. 199 neoficiālie toponīmi analizēti, iedalīti pēc vietu nosaukšanas motivācijas. Ir secināts, ka vietas saistība ar cilvēku un vietas raksturīga īpašība ir uzskatāmas par visbiežākajām vietas nosaukšanas motivācijām, attiecīgi metaforisku un metonīmisku Helsinku slenga toponīmu gadījumos. Darba apjoms ir 65 lappuses; darbā ietilpst ievads, 6 nodaļas, rezultāti un secinājumi. Darbam ir viens pielikums. Atslēgvārdi: Helsinku slengs, neoficiālie toponīmi, metafora, metonīmija.

The theme of the bachelor’s work is “Metaphorical and metonymical Helsinki slang toponyms”. The object of the bachelor’s work is to give notion about a diverse part of toponyms in the unique slang of Finnish capital – metaphorical and metonymical slang toponyms. Description of Helsinki slang, metaphor and metonymy from two different standpoints, prior studies of Helsinki slang toponyms and syntactic semantic classification model has been given in the work. 199 unofficial toponyms have been analyzed, divided according to the motivation for naming of a place. It has been concluded, that the connection with human and a peculiar trait of a place can be considered the most common motivations for naming in case of metaphorical and metonymical Helsinki slang toponyms, respectively. The volume of the work is 65 pages; the work contains introduction, 6 chapters, results and conclusions. The work has one appendix. Key words: Helsinki slang, unofficial toponyms, metaphor, metonymy.
