Abstract
Kvalifikācijas darba tēma par plaģiātisma noteikšanas sistēmu tika izvēlēta tāpēc, ka arvien lielākai resursu pieejamībai internetā palielinās plaģiātisma iespējamība vairākos akadēmiskajos darbos. Tostarp gadās, ka bieži vien tiek nodoti vairāki līdzīgi darbi, vai arī darbi no iepriekšējiem gadiem. Lai palīdzētu ātri un efektīvi kontrolēt darbu autentiskumu ir nepieciešamība pēc dažādiem plaģiātisma noteikšanas, dokumentu salīdzināšanas pakalpojumiem un sistēmām.
Līdz ar to kvalifikācijas darba ietvaros tika izveidots plaģiātisma noteikšanas programmrisinājums, kuru paredzēts izmantot mācību iestādēs.
Plagiarism detection system as the topic for the qualification thesis has been chosen due to increasing availability of the resources over the Internet. Therefore, the possibility of plagiarism increases significantly in academic works. It often happens that a big number of similar works are submitted or works from previous years are submitted as well. In order to help quickly and effectively control the authenticity of the the work there is a need for the various plagiarism detection and document comparison services and systems. The plagiarism detection software system was designed and implemented within the qualification project. The system is supposed to be used in educational institutions.
