Abstract
Darba nosaukums : NATO un Baltijas valstu mijiedarbība atturēšanas attiecībās ar Krieviju Darba mērķis: noskaidrot, kā tiek īstenota NATO - Baltijas valstu atturēšanas politika attiecībā uz Krieviju un kādi faktori to ietekmē? Izpēts jautājumu: Kāds ir galvenais NATO un Baltijas valstu atturēšanas politiku attiecībā uz Krieviju ietekmējošais apsvērums? Darba struktūra: Teorētiskā daļa: Veikt ieskatu atturēšanas koncepta būtībā, atturēšanas veidu klasifikācijā; noskaidrot atturēšanu ietekmējošos faktorus; izpētīti sekmīgas attālinātās atturēšanas priekšnoteikumus Empīriskā daļa: Veicot gadījuma izpēti, tiks analizēta NATO un Baltijas valstu īstenotā atturēšanas rīcībpolitika militārā un politiskā griezumā laika posmā pēc Krimas aneksijas. Title: The Interaction of NATO and the Baltic States within deterrence relationship towards Russia. Objective: To understand how the deterrence policy of NATO - Baltic States is being implemented towards Russia and what are the factors affecting it? Research question: What is the main consideration influencing deterrence policy of NATO and the Baltic States towards Russia? Structure of the paper: Theoretical part: to get insight in deterrence concept, classification of deterrence; to acquaint oneself with factors affecting deterrence; to learn conditions of successful extended deterrence. Empirical part: Deterrence policy of NATO and the Baltic States after the annexation of Crimea will be analyzed from military and political perspective by carrying out a case study.
