Eifēmismu lietojums politiskajās runās vācu valodā

Abstract

Bakalaura darbs ir veltīts dažādu eifēmismu veidu pielietošanai politiskajās runās vācu valodā. Eifēmismu īpašo nozīmi politiskajā valodā nosaka to funkcijas, kas ļauj realizēt politisko runu motīvus un mērķus, ievērojot noteiktas situācijas individuālos vai sabiedrības normas. Darba teorētiskajā daļā tiek aplūkots eifēmismu jēdziens, klasifikācija, nozīmīgākās funkcijas un veidi, kā arī politiskās valodas īpatnības un politiskās runas raksturīgākie aspekti. Pētījumā tika iekļautas BK’in Merkel politiskās runas. Pētījumā konstatēts, ka eifēmismu pielietojums nav tikai lingvistiski pamatots, bet gan tiek pakārtots noteiktai runas stratēģijai, kura ir atkarīga no konkrēta laika, telpas un apstākļiem.

This Bachelor thesis investigates different kinds of euphemisms and their use in political speeches in the German language. The special meaning of euphemisms in political speeches is dictated by their functions, which help to accomplish the motifs and the goals, taking into account the individual and social norms. The definition, classicication, most important functions of euphemisms, as well as the idiosyncrasies and most common aspects of political speeches are discussed in the theoretical part of this thesis. The research contains speech exerpts of German Chancellor Angela Merkel. The research shows that the use of euphemisms in poltical speeches in German is not only supported from the linguistic point of view, but is also adapted to the strategy of the speech, which is dependent on the time that the speech takes place, the surroundings and the conditions under which the speech is delivered.
