Abstract
Šaja petijuma par LTV zinu dienesta veidoto raidijumu „Eiropa šodien” apskatitas
trissturveida attiecibas starp to, ko redaktori uzskata par svarigam zinam, kam jauniešu
auditorija dod priekšroku un ko medijs reali atspogulo. Petijuma merkis ir noskaidrot, ka
veidojas attiecibas starp žurnalistiem, auditoriju un mediju, lai noteiktu veidu, ka zinas ir
prezentetas un izvertetas.
Darbam izveleta teoretiska pieeja saistas ar dienaskartibas noteikšanas teoriju. Lai
istenotu bakalaura darba merki veikti šadi petijumi:
1) izmantojot kontentanalizes metodi, analizeti 1280 zinu materiali, kas parraiditi
LTV zinu raidijuma „Eiropa šodien” no 01.09.2005. lidz 27.02.2006. Kontentanalize
identificetas galvenas temas, fokuss un problemjautajumi. 2) ar anketam noskaidrots, kadi apsverumi vada zinu atlases procesa iesaistitos
producentus, redaktorus un žurnalistus;
3) analizets „Latvijas Faktu” veiktais sabiedriskas domas petijumus, ka ari ar
interneta ievietotas aptaujas palidzibu noskaidrotas jauniešu ka raidijuma merkauditorijas
intereses un vajadzibas, ka ari pec vinu domam nozimigakie notikumi Eiropa petamaja
laika posma;
4) aprekinata korelacija starp medija dienaskartibu, kas ieguta ar kontentanalizes
palidzibu, un auditorijas dienaskartibu, kas ieguta no darba ietvaros veiktajam aptaujam
un „Latvijas Faktu” veikta petijuma.
This research paper looks at the triangle type relationships between Latvian Television’s news programme “Eiropa šodien” (Europe Today), its editors, preferences of youth audience and final content of the news medium. The purpose of the study is to ascertain how the relationships between journalists, audience and medium are created and to determine how news is judged and presented. Basis of this paper is agenda-setting theory, originally presented by Maxwell McCombs. Thus the research is divided in several parts: 1) Content analysis of 1280 news stories, broadcasted on the news programme “Eiropa šodien” from September 2005 to February 2006. Content analysis helps to identify main topics and issues and determine issues on medium agenda; 2) Survey of „gate keepers” in news organization to determine how and why they select particular news stories; 3) Analysis of public opinion research done by “Latvian Facts” and also survey of 100 young adults about their interests, needs and preferences to determine issues on viewers’ agenda; 4) Calculation of correlation coefficient and drawing the conclusions.
