Informācijas tehnoloģiju pielietojums krājuma pārvaldībā bibliotēkās

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā tika apskatīta un izpētīta informācijas tehnoloģiju lietderība un ieviešanas iespējas krājuma pārvaldības procesos Latvijas bibliotēkās. Pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, kādas tehnoloģijas varētu uzlabot krājuma pārvaldības efektivitāti, kāda ir bibliotekāru gatavība tās pieņemt, kādi ir galvenie šķēršļi to ieviešanā un nākotnes perspektīvas. Darba problēmjautājums tika izvirzīts: kādas informācijas tehnoloģijas būtu vispiemērotākās krājuma pārvaldības uzlabošanai Latvijas bibliotēkās un kādi faktori veicina vai kavē to pieņemšanu darba vidē no lietotāju skatupunkta. Pētījuma teorētiskajā daļā tika apskatīta pragmatisma teorija, apvienotā tehnoloģiju pieņemšanas un izmantošanas teorija, krājuma pārvaldības jēdziens un bibliotēkās krājuma pārvaldībā izmantotās tehnoloģijas. Metodoloģijas daļā tika analizētas intervijas ar Latvijas Nacionālās bibliotēkas speciālistiem un anketas aptaujas, izmantojot Delfi metodi, ar reģionu galveno bibliotēku sistēmbibliotekāriem. Pēc veiktās analīzes tika izteikts secinājums, ka tehnoloģijas var būtiski uzlabot krājuma pārvaldības efektivitāti. Lai veicinātu tehnoloģiju pieņemšanu, nepieciešams stratēģisks plāns un regulāras darbinieku apmācības.

The Bachelor's work examined and explored the usefulness of information technologies and possibilities for implementation in stock management processes in Latvian libraries. The aim of the study was to find out what technologies could improve the efficiency of stock management, what librarians are willing to adopt them, what are the main barriers to their introduction and the Outlook for the future. The work issue was raised: what information technologies would be best suited to improving stock management in Latvian libraries and what factors contribute to or hinder their adoption in the working environment from the perspective of users. The theoretical part of the study looked at pragmatism theory, the combined theory of adoption and use of technology, the concept of stock management and technologies used in libraries to manage the stock. The methodology part analysed interviews with specialists of the national Library of Latvia and questionnaire surveys using the Delfi method with system librarians of the main libraries of regions. Following the analysis, it was concluded that technologies can significantly improve the efficiency of stock management. Promoting technology adoption requires a strategic plan and regular staff training.
