Abstract
Maģistra darba mērķis ir izpētīt izglītojamo neattaisnotu mācību stundu kavējumu iemeslus un sniegt priekšlikumus to samazināšanai Latvijas izglītības iestādēs. Darba teorētiskajā daļā analizēti mācību stundu neapmeklēšanas veidi, veikta ilgstošo neattaisnoto mācību stundu kavējumu iemeslu un rīcības to novēršanai analīze. Apkopota Somijas, Vācijas un Lielbritānijas pieredze darbā ar mācību stundu kavējumu mazināšanu. Darba empīriskajā daļā veikta izglītojamo anketēšana un izglītības iestāžu pārstāvju intervēšana. Maģistra darbs atspoguļo mācību stundu kavēšanas dažādo raksturu. Secināts, ka mācību stundu kavēšanu bieži var izraisīt motivācijas trūkums, dažādas sociālas problēmas un ģimenes apstākļi, kā arī vecāku un bērnu vienaldzība pret likumu.
The aim of this master’s thesis is to research causes of school truancy and to formulate propositions in order to reduce school truancy in Latvian educational institutions. In the theoretical part of the work are analysed different types of truancy, has been realize deep analysis of causes of school unjustified truancy and of successful interventions. There has been summarize experience of Finland, Germany and Great Britain in the field of managing school attendance. In the empirical part of the work has been realize practical research. The methods of research are questionnaire for pupils and the interviews with the heads or another designated persons of educational institutions. This master's thesis reflects different character of school truancy. It is concluded that pupils’ lack of motivation, different social problems and conditions of family can contribute school truancy, as well as parental and child indifference to the law.
