Starpslāņa izstrāde datu apmaiņai starp Oracle un PostgreSQL datubāzēm

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā tiek teorētiski aplūkotas esošās metodes un rīki datu apmaiņu nodrošināšanai starp heterogēnām relāciju datubāzes pārvaldības sistēmām un tiek aprakstītas arī funkcionalitātes un funkcionālās atšķirības starp Oracle un PostgreSQL datubāzēm ar mērķi nonākt pie risinājuma, kā ieviest datu apmaiņai starp šīm datubāzēm, ņemot vērā darījumprasības un augsto datu kopu dinamiku. Gala rezultātā tiek padziļinātā līmenī aprakstīta izvēlētā starpslāņa risinājuma arhitektūra un ar to saistītie dizaina aspekti un implementācijas detaļas, kas ļauj neatkarīgām lietojumprogrammām apmainīties ar datiem bez pilna mēroga datubāzu un esošo risinājumu migrācijām uz citām tehnoloģijām, kā arī izvērtēti alternatīvie risinājumi, lai novērtētu izvēlētā risinājuma piemērotību.

This bachelor’s thesis theoretically examines existing methods and tools for ensuring data exchange between heterogeneous relational database management systems and also describes the functionalities and functional differences between Oracle and PostgreSQL databases with the aim of arriving at a solution on how to implement data exchange between these databases, taking into account business requirements and high dynamics of the data sets. The final result is a detailed description of the architecture of the selected middleware solution and the related design aspects and implementation details that will allow independent applications to exchange data without full-scale database and existing solution migrations to other technologies, including evaluating alternative solutions to assess the suitability of the selected solution.
