Ventas posma Vadakste - Riežupe ekoloģiskās kvalitātes vērtējums izmantojot makrofītus

Abstract

Šī bakalaura darba mērķis ir noteikt Ventas posma starp Vadaksti un Riežupi ekoloģisko kvalitāti izmantojot makrofītu sugu sastāvu izvēlētajos posmos. Sešiem izvēlētajiem 50 m gariem posmiem lauka darbu gaitā tika noteikta upes aizauguma pakāpe, makrofītu sugu projektīvais segums, kā arī tika raksturots biotops. Pēc makrofītu sugu sastāva upes posmiem tika aprēķināts sugu daudzveidības indekss – Šennona indekss, un upes trofijas pakāpi raksturojošs indekss - MTR. No Latvijas Vides, Ģeoloģijas un Meteoroloģijas centra iegūtie ķīmiskās kvalitātes dati par trīs novērojuma vietām Ventā tika analizēti pēc LR normatīvajos aktos noteiktajiem lielumiem. Gan lauku darbu gaitā gan pielietojot tālizpētes metodes tika noteikti posmi, kuriem iespējams nepieciešama rekultivācija. Darbā tika sniegti iespējamie labākie risinājumi Ventas aizauguma mazināšanai un apskatīti piemēri citās upēs.

The aim of the Bachelor thesis is to state the ecological quality of the river Venta between the rivers Vadakste and Riežupe by using the composition of the macrophyte species in the selected sections of the river. During the field research in six of the selected 50 m long sections the overgrowth level of the river and the projective covering of the macrophyte species were defined, and also the biotope were described. By using the composition of the macrophytes species in the selected sections the diversity index – Shannon index, and an index that describes the trophy of the river – the MTR, was estimated. Chemical quality findings from the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology center about 3 observation spots in the Venta have been taken from the Latvian Environment, Geology and Meteorology center and have been analyzed by the values defined by the laws and regulations of Latvia. During field work and also using geomatics sections were determined with potential need of recultivation. Possible best solutions of undermining the overgrowth in Venta as well as the examples in other rivers are given.
