Nacionālisms un multikulturālisms Dienvidkorejā

Abstract

Bakalaura darbā “Nacionālisms un multikulturālisms Dienvidkorejā” tiek izpētīti mūsdienu Dienvidkorejas sabiedrību lielā mērā noteicošo etniskā nacionālisma un multikulturālisma procesu attīstība un ietekme. Korejas sabiedrība, kurai ilgus gadus ieaudzināja nacionālisma garu, globalizācijas procesu ietekmē arvien vairāk saskaras ar citu kultūru pārstāvjiem, kas ierodas Dienvidkorejā. Lai visas sabiedrības grupas būtu apmierinātas un produktīvi sadarbotos, dzīvojot vienā valstī, starp tām ir nepieciešams radīt dialogu un veikt kultūru apmaiņu. Pašreiz Dienvidkorejā notiek aktīvs diskurss par multikulturālās sabiedrības izveidošanu, kas padara šī darba tematu par aktuālu. Uzsvars darbā ir likts uz abu pieminēto procesu attīstību, to ietekmi un novērtējumu. Darbs ir sadalīts 3 daļās. Katrā daļā ir 2-3 nodaļas. Pirmajā daļā ir aprakstīti procesi, kas raksturo šī brīža Dienvidkorejas sociāli-ekonomisko situāciju, ar uzsvaru uz demogrāfiskiem aspektiem, kas ir nepieciešams, lai izprastu nākamo daļu jautājumus. Otrajā daļā tiek izpētīts korejiešu etniskais nacionālisms, tā izveides gaita un ietekmes sfēras. Trešajā daļā tiek aprakstīts mūsdienās notiekošie multikulturālisma procesi, to ietekmes jomas un sabiedrības un valdības reakcija uz šiem procesiem. Tika secināts, ka gan nacionālisms, gan arī multikulturālisms savā mēra ietekmē korejiešu sabiedrību un starp tiem ir jāmeklē harmonija. Darba garums ir 65 lpp.

Bachelor thesis “Nationalism and Multiculturalism in South Korea” explores the development and impact of modern South Korean society largely determining ethnic nationalism and multiculturalism. Korean society, in which the spirit of nationalism was cultivated for many years, is more often confronted with the representatives of other cultures who arrive to South Korea. In order to ensure that all groups of society are satisfied and productively working together while living in one country, it is necessary to create a dialogue between them and exercise the exchange of cultures. There currently happens an active discourse in the South Korea on the topic of creation of a multicultural society that makes the subject of this paper relevant. Emphasis has been placed on the development, impact and assessment of the two processes mentioned. Thesis is divided into 3 parts. Each part contains 2-3 chapters. The first part describes the processes that describe the socio-economic situation of South Korea at this moment, with an emphasis on the demographic aspects needed to understand the issues of the following parts. The second part explores Korean ethnic nationalism, the course of its creation and spheres of influence. The third part describes the ongoing multiculturalism processes, their areas of influence and the reactions of society and government to these processes. It was concluded that both nationalism and multiculturalism have an impact on Korean society and that harmony must be sought between them. This thesis consists of 65 pages.
