Abstract
Maģistra darbs "Sporta ziņu valoda" sniedz ieskatu par leksiskajām, gramatiskajām, vārddarināšanas īpatnībām sporta ziņās. Īpaša uzmanība pievērsta sporta ziņu valodas stilistiskajām iezīmēm un valodas kultūras jautājumiem. Aplūkots publicistikas valodas lietojums plašsaziņas līdzekļos kopumā, publicistikas žanru tipi, kā arī tieši sporta publicistikas valodai raksturīgās īpatnības. Darbā analizēti arī mākslinieciskās izteiksmes līdzekļi un to izmantošana sporta publicistikā latviešu valodā iznākošajos preses izdevumos. Sporta ziņu valoda ir emocionāla un tēlaina, tajā aizvien vairāk tiek lietoti sarunvalodai raksturīgi valodas līdzekļi.
This paper "The Language of Sports News" explores the lexical, grammatical, word-formation features in sports news. Special attention is paid to sports news stylistic features of language and cultural issues of language. It examines how the language of journalism is employed in mass media and the genres of journalism overall as well as it establishes the peculiarities of the language of sports journalism. The paper analyses different types of stylistic devices, and their manifestations in the language of sports journalism based on Latvian newspapers. Sports news language is emotional and imaginative, it is increasingly used in everyday language specific resources.
