Farmaceitiskās aprūpes novērtējums Latvijā un tās salīdzinājums ar Apvienoto Karalisti un Vāciju

Abstract

Farmaceitiskā aprūpe ir aprūpes prakse, kas centrālajā lomā liek pacientu un ir vērsta uz pozitīvu rezultātu sasniegšanu. Tā realizēšanai ir nepieciešams kvalificēta farmaceita darbs sadarbībā ar pašiem pacientiem un citiem veselības aprūpes speciālistiem, lai sekmētu veselību, novērstu saslimšanu, kā arī novērtētu, uzraudzītu un regulētu medikamentu lietošanu, nodrošinot medikamentozās terapijas drošību un efektivitāti. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izpētīt Latvijas medicīnas profesionāļu uzskatus par farmaceitisko aprūpi, farmaceita lomu tajā un savstarpējo sadarbību. Darba veikšanā tika izmantota empīriskā pētījuma metode. Anketas aizpildīja veselības aprūpes speciālisti (ārsti, māsas, medicīnas rezidenti), kā arī medicīnas studenti. Datu analīzei tika izmantotas 79 aptaujas. Rezultātā tika secināts, ka medicīnas speciālisti atbalsta farmaceitu iesaistīšanos pacientu veselības aprūpes nodrošināšanā, taču sadarbība starp abu profesionāļu pārstāvjiem Latvijā būtu jāuzlabo un jākonkretizē farmaceitiskās aprūpes uzdevumu un farmaceitu lomu raksturojumu tās izpildē.

Pharmaceutical care is practice of care, which puts patients in the central role and is focused on positive outcomes. It requires a work of qualified pharmacist in collaboration with the patients themselves and other health care professionals to promote health, prevent disease and to assess, monitor and regulate the use of drugs by providing safety and efficacy of drug therapy. Bachelor thesis aims to explore perceptions of Latvian medical professionals’ about pharmaceutical care, the pharmacists’ role in it and mutual cooperation. In this paper the empirical research method was used. Questionnaires were completed by healthcare professionals (doctors, nurses, medical residents), as well as medical students. For the data analyses 79 surveys were used. As a result, it was concluded that medical professionals support pharmacist involvement in patient health care provision, but cooperation between the both professional representatives in Latvia should be improved and pharmaceutical care tasks and characteristics of the pharmacists’ role in its implementation should be specified.
