Abstract
Mūsdienās flamenko ir starptautiski atpazīstams kultūras un mākslas izpausmju kopums,
neskatoties uz to, tas ir kļuvis par ļoti neskaidru un komercializētu fenomenu. Valsts institūcijas
neizprot vai ignorē aktuālās problēmas flamenko mākslas pasaulē. Šo institūciju atbalstītā
heterodoksā flamenkoloģija cenšas transformēt kontekstu, kurā flamenko mākslinieki veidojuši
savu daiļradi, un no jauna interpretēt konceptus, kuru ietekmē radies un attīstījies šīs mākslas
kodols, cante jondo. XX gadsimta 80.gados sāk veidoties tradīciju pārrāvums cante jondo
mākslas evolūcijā. Šajā pētījumā tiek pamatots, ka pašlaik cante jondo atrodas uz izzušanas
robežas.

Nowadays flamenco is internationally known as the unity of cultural and art manifestations, notwithstanding the fact that it has become a really obscure and commercialized phenomenon. Heterodox flamencology, supported by state institutions that refuse to comprehend or ignore the topical problems of the world of flamenco, try to transform the context where the community of flamenco artists have implemented their creations, trying to interpret anew the concepts that constitute the nucleus of this particular art – cante jondo. In 1980-ties the rupture of the evolution of traditions of cante jondo began. The current research demonstrates that presently cante jondo is on the verge of extinction. Key concepts: cante jondo, the Roma heritage, orthodox, heterodox, cultural industry, rupture, extinction.
