Abstract
Darbs atklāj būtiskākās mūsdienu lenā kino estētikās iezīmes un izskata to pielietojumu Alehandro Gonzales Injaritu filmā „Biutiful”. Skaistuma un destrukcijas estētiskais konflikts šajā filmā atklājas kā galvenais skatītāja estētiskās pieredzes ietekmējošais faktors. Skaistuma atainojums tiek apzināti savīts ar destrukcijas atainojumu tādējādi pastiprinot mūsdienu kino mākslas estētisko pieredzi.

The present study explores major aesthetic features of contemporary cinema of slowness and addresses their employment in the narrative structure of Alejandro González Iñárritu’s film Biutiful. The aesthetic conflict of beauty and destruction emerges in this film as the key factor influencing the aesthetic experience of the spectator. Images of beauty are intentionally tied together with the images of destruction in order to intensify the aesthetic experience of contemporary cinematic art.
