Abstract
Bakalaura darba tēma ir studentu identitātes prezentēšana sociālajos tīklos: "draugiem.lv" un "facebook.com" gadījumu analīze. Šī bakalaura darba mērķis ir noskaidrot Latvijas studentu identitātes prezentēšanu sociālajos tīklos draugiem.lv un facebook.com. Šī darba ietvaros ir izstrādāti trīs pētnieciskie jautājumi: kādu informāciju studenti prezentē savos profilos, kādi ir sevis prezentēšanas paradumi, vai studentu prezentētā identitāte atšķiras portālā draugiem.lv no facebook.com?
Teorijas daļā tiek apskatīts sociālo tīklošanas vietņu jēdziens, sevis prezentēšana, kā arī identitāte, kas tiešā mērā ir saistāma ar sevis prezentēšanu.
Ar aptaujas un kvantitatīvās kontentanalīzes palīdzību tiek noskaidroti studentu identitātes prezentēšanas paradumi, salīdzinot portālus draugiem.lv un facebook.com.

The topic of the bachelor's thesis is presentation of student`s identity in social networks: case study of "draugiem.lv" and "facebook.com" The aim of the thesis is to find out how Latvian students present themselves on social networks draugiem.lv and facebook.com. In the research part the author developed three main questions: what kind of information students present on their social profiles, what habits they have in common and if student’s social information is different what they present on social networks draugiem.lv and facebook.com? In the theoretical part of the thesis author described definition of social networking, self-presentation and also identity what effects people self-presentation. Through surveys and quantitative content analysis author found out student identity presentation habits compared in two social network sites: draugiem.lv and facebook.com. Key words: students, network, draugiem.lv, facebook.com, identity, self-presentation.
