Abstract
Bakalaura darba “Ekoskolu programma kā vides pārvaldības instruments Latvijas pašvaldībās” mērķis ir izpētīt Ekoskolu un pašvaldību darbu un sadarbības iespējas vietējās vides pārvaldības kontekstā, un izstrādāt priekšlikumus abu pušu sekmīgākai sadarbībai. Tas tiek sasniegts, veicot divus situācijanalīzes pētījumus par Pašvaldības līmeņa Ekopadomes izveidēm. Pētījums veikts, intervējot Ekoskolu, pašvaldību, ekspertu pārstāvjus. Pētījuma rezultāti parāda, ka Ekoskolas var izmantot kā vides pārvaldības rīku, bet platformas izveidei nepieciešams stiprināt gan mērķgrupu iesaisti, gan pašvaldību atbalstu Ekoskolu programmas un vides izglītības veicināšanai. The aim of the bachelor thesis “Eco-School programme as an environmental governance instrument in Latvian municipalities” is to study the work of Eco-Schools and municipalities and the possibilities of cooperation in the context of local environmental governance, and to develop proposals for more successful cooperation between the two parties. This is achieved by conducting two case studies on the establishment of Eco-Councils at the municipal level. The research was carried out through interviews with representatives of Eco-Schools, municipalities, experts. The results show that Eco-Schools can be used as an environmental governance tool, but the establishment of the platform requires strengthening both the involvement of target groups and the support of municipalities for the promotion of Eco-School programme and environmental education.
