Abstract
Nodokļu atvieglojumi ir būtisks rīks, kas ļauj nostiprināt valsts konkurētspēju, samazinot nodokļu slogu uzņēmumiem un veicinot investīcijas konkrētās jomās, nozarēs vai reģionos. Bakalaura darba “Nodokļu atvieglojumi kā konkurētspēju veicinošs rīks” mērķis ir izpētīt nodokļu atvieglojumu pielietojumu konkurētspējas veicināšanā, analizējot to ietekmi uz ekonomisko izaugsmi un starptautiskā nodokļu konkurētspējas indeksa rādītājiem Baltijas valstīs, kā arī izvērtēt Latvijas speciālo ekonomisko zonu uzņēmēju pieredzi un viedokli par nodokļu atvieglojumu efektivitāti. Darba autore atklāj, ka nodokļu atvieglojumi ir nepieciešams un efektīvs rīks, lai Latvija spētu konkurēt starptautiskajā mērogā. Darbā ir izstrādāti konkrēti priekšlikumi nodokļu politikas pilnveidošanai, lai veicinātu konkurētspēju. Darba apjoms ir 94 lappuses, kas satur 21 tabulu, 1 formulu, 15 attēlus un 1 pielikumu. Bakalaura darba izveidē izmantoti 67 literatūras un informācijas avoti.
Tax incentives are a crucial tool for strengthening national competitiveness by reducing the tax burden on enterprises and promoting investments in specific sectors, industries or regions. The aim of the bachelor’s thesis “Tax incentives as a tool to enhance competitiveness” is to examine the application of tax incentives in fostering competitiveness, analysing their impact on economic growth and international tax competitiveness index indicators in the Baltic states, as well as to evaluate the experience and perceptions of enterprises operating within Latvia’s special economic zones regarding the effectiveness of tax incentives. The author finds that tax incentives are an important and effective tool for Latvia to compete on an international scale. The thesis proposes specific recommendations for improving tax policy in Latvia to enhance competitiveness. The paper consists of 94 pages, containing 21 tables, 1 formula, 15 figures and 1 appendix. 67 literatures and information sources were used in the bachelor thesis.
