Pašcieņas saistība ar attiecību kvalitāti precētiem un neprecētiem pāriem

Abstract

Pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt saistības starp pašcieņu un attiecību kvalitāti precētiem un neprecētiem pāriem. Pētījumā piedalījās 182 respondenti vecumā no 20 līdz 50 gadiem (M=33,6; SD=8,66). Darbā tika izmantotas: „Rozenberga pašcieņas aptauja” (Rosenberg self-Esteem scale, Rosenbrg, 1965), "Uztverto attiecību kvalitātes komponentu novērtējuma skala'' (PRQC - The Perceived Relationship Quality Component, Fletcher et al., 2000), kā arī sociāli demogrāfisko datu aptauja. Iegūtie rezultāti uzrādīja statistiski nozīmīgas pozitīvas saistības starp pašcieņas un attiecību kvalitātes rādītājiem, gan izlasei, kura ir precējusies, gan izlasei, kura ir attiecībās, bet nav precējusies. Kā arī statistiski nozīmīgas atšķirības pašcieņas un attiecību kvalitātes rādītājos starp abām izlasēm.

The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between self-esteem and quality of relationship in married and unmarried couples. 182 respondents aged between 20 and 50 (M=33,6; SD=8,66) took part in the study. The following was utilized in this study: Rosenberg self-Esteem scale (Rosenberg, 1965), PRQC - The Perceived Relationship Quality Component (Fletcher et al., 2000) and social demographic survey. The obtained results showed statistically significant positive correlations between self-esteem and relationship quality indicators, both for the sample that is married and for the sample that is in a relationship but not married. As well as statistically significant differences in self-esteem and relationship quality indicators between the two samples.
